About Blue Hessner
Blue Hessner has established himself as a knowledgeable mortgage professional since he joined the profession in 2006. While clients rely on his expert understanding of the many elements of securing a home loan, it’s his personality that keeps them coming back. Blue works as a mortgage banker because he truly enjoys helping people realize their dreams of home ownership. His approach is straight forward, friendly, and honest, and his clients love him for it.
Deeply committed to the community, Blue serves as the Vice President of the Nederland Chamber of Commerce and organizes the Frozen Dead Guy Days. He also sits on the board at Nedsk8.org, a skateboard park project in town. Prior to the mortgage industry, Blue owned and managed two local ski shops in Nederland and Longmont, where he learned the challenges of operating a small business. These experiences gave Blue a deep understanding of great customer service, and he acquired skills and knowledge that benefit his clients to this day.
Before joining the rat race, Blue was a professional snowboarder ranked internationally. He still loves snowboarding, regularly gets out snowmobiling and hiking, and spends time playing paintball and golf. He is the proud father of two children, Carmela, his daughter, and Rhode, his son. Blue was born in Texas, but raised in Boulder, attending Fairview High School and studying Finance at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat.
