About Joe Zahn
Joe is a fun guy to work with on a mortgage. He has great energy, is an eternal optimist, and keeps a cool demeanor even when things get out of whack. He’s been called zany, but in a kind and infectious way.
And of course Joe knows his stuff. He’s worked in real estate since 1975 and finance since 1981, and in that time Joe has seen it all. His favorite part of the business is leveraging his knowledge and experience to help prospective homeowners, particularly younger borrowers. Joe is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and put in the extra effort when the transaction demands it.
Joe’s philosophy is simple: “do the right thing, and endeavor to add value.” He’s known to be frank and honest, and likes to remind his clients that “it’s a process, not an event.”
Joe was born and raised in Billings, MT, where he earned a Finance degree from the Montana State University. He came to Colorado in 1983, after being hooked by John Denver’s “Rocky Mountain High”. Joe loves to learn, and is a licensed mortgage broker, licensed real estate broker, is active in the CMLA and HBA, and is a licensed pilot with an instrument rating. When away from the office Joe is a voracious reader, enjoys all things outdoors in Colorado (cycling, skiing, flyfishing), and loves spending time with his children, grandchildren, and wonderful wife of 39 years.
